The recent story of “Balloon Boy” has hit the US newstream and even folks around the world hard. There has been a massive Internet response to the incident of this supposed stunt. In case you’ve been locked away in a cave somewhere without any cave, just do a simple Google search for Balloon Boy to be updated.

While it’s still unsure how the family will capitalize off of this event, it is very obvious that the media and the web are milking it for what they can. People are selling t-shirts on Zazzle, designing graphics, and using the story as the butt of their jokes on t.v. comedy hours. Move over Obama, Balloon Boy t-shirts are all the rage.
